Media & Creative Productions

Creative productions for public engagement through collaborative partnerships.

Co-created using social science research, audience centred design and effective engagement with populations in need.

I led the creative concept and direction for SAFE (2025), a bold visual affirmation of trans lives and rights. A 2.5-minute film, originally created in response to the Trans & Conditions call to the CIRCA 20:25 Manifesto, REFUGIA.  Co-directed and featuring three courageous trans and non-binary NHS staff, the visual is set to a poem, written by Jason, our trans male contributor, and is voiced by all three. We mixed music produced by a commissioned trans artist, Margomool. SAFE reflects our collective belief in safety as a human right, trans rights as human rights, and the urgent need to alleviate human suffering. I led the visual concept, with delicate face and body close-ups within the narrative guided by Jerome Monnot — layering bold visuals with symbolic rhythm, holding the pain, power, and joy that emerged through the process.

We filmed on the streets of Soho, inside our NHS service 56 Dean Street and at Ku Bar & Sacred Grounds, Soho — who welcomed us with such generosity.
We felt powerful, reclaiming Soho’s public light as a space for belonging, protest and unapologetic life.

A health documentary I created and directed for the NIHR North London Research Delivery Network.  An essential film with a mission to bridge gaps in trust between communities and healthcare systems. Produced and visually co-directed by Spirited Pictures for the NIHR (independent vision pitched to NIHR for funding), the film unites over 30 contributors, including community leaders, NHS researchers, and health experts, to explore systemic barriers and historical injustices in health research. By highlighting innovative community-led initiatives and fostering inclusive dialogue, ‘Trust’ addresses pressing health issues such as maternal health disparities, youth mental health, and sickle cell disease.
